Gentlent Accounts supports built-in two-factor authentication (2FA) for all users. By default, it is disabled and has to be configured easily by yourself.
- Sign in to the Gentlent Console, where you can manage your account.
- Open your profile settings and go to the 2FA setup.
- Follow the instructions and set up 2FA using a provider supporting TOTP, such as:
- Google Authenticator
- or similar services.
Done! You're now using 2FA. Try it out by signing in after a logout.
Lost access to your 2FA device?
If you lose access to your 2FA codes, contact us immediately with more information. The process is similar to the "Contact our support" step from our "Reset Your Password"-article. We'll then work with you to make sure that it is indeed your account and disable 2FA temporarily.
